We fell in love with this beautiful breed sat outside a pub on the edge of the Manchester moors in 1987 where we met three Manchester Terriers with Keith Littlewood ( Shorrall) they made a huge impact on us with their elegant style & good looks & we decided that this would be the next breed of dog for us. 

 

We finally found Neroli de Lavis Trafford (Tyburn) had a litter, at last we had our little girl Tyburn Selene  who we named  "Gemma".

Gemma was the start of Brookstream Manchesters. We applied to the Kennel Club for an Affix and was granted Brookstream coming from the place we live Hawthorne Brook & a stream at the top of the garden.

We were very impressed with  the Manterr/Keyline dogs and became very good friends with Bryan & Suzanne Moorhouse.

Bryan kindly gave us a bitch called Manterr Fantasia ‘Taisy’ who joined our dog and we also had the opportunity of Keyline Gloriola ‘Kati’ these three bitches were our foundation, special thanks to all who helped us along this wonderful journey.

We are pleased we have the opportunity to help promote, care for this rare and wonderful breed.
